We are here an embarrassingly large amount. It's a warm, welcoming restaurant (and they don't care if you've been painting all day). Service is always prompt--with chips, salsa, drink refills, whatever--and I've never had a bad entree. My favorite tends to be the street tacos, but you also can't beat their enchiladas. Note that they do trivia some nights and it can be a bit loud, but it's a fun experience. Practical notes: lot parking, family friendly, clean (including bathrooms) despite what other reviews might indicate.

TGIF! We went to Casa Blanca on Bailey Cove in south Huntsville. The restaurant is across the street from the old Grissom High School and the new Huntsville Public Library. We arrived at 2pm and there were 2 diners in the restaurant. We headed to the bar to get draft Negro Modelo beers. Hubs and I ate the chips and salsa while we looked at the menu. We decided to get chicken fajitas. Our food came with guacamole, pico de gallo, sour cream, lettuce, and we skipped rice asking for double pinto beans versus decried beans. The pinto beans are much better in my opinion. Their guacamole is the best of all the restaurants south of Governor's Drive. I have tried guacamole all over this town and theirs is great. We asked for corn tortillas to accompany our meal. They were steamed and very tasty. Our fajitas were good. I deducted a star because the fajitas did not come out screaming hot like most Mexican restaurants. They were warm but not hot as if they were cooked and held in the kitchen for 10 minutes. This restaurant is busy Friday and Saturday nights. They have a loyal clientele and good food. The guacamole is great and so is the salsa to me. It is not blazing hot and has fresh cilantro and diced onions. Yum. Their lunch menu is available until 5pm and is a deal. The prices are reasonable. Come early and have tasty food and a cold beer.
